  Comfort food at its finest! I don't know a darn thing about Bosnian food, but I do know what great food and service is. I ordered the "natural schnitzel" with baked potato. The schnitzel was really tender and was served with a gravy that made this Southern girl go OMG. Instead of a baked potato, I received pan fried potatoes with onions and peppers....goodness! Everything was seasoned perfectly, and I ate every single bit of food on my plate.
  
  One of the most surprising aspects of the meal was the cabbage salad. It was literally shredded cabbage, salt, pepper, and oil and vinegar with herbs. I don't know what kind of magic combination of ingredients they used, but the simplicity of the salad made it sooo good.
  
  Major perk: unlike a lot of family owned, small restaurants, this one serves wine and beer.
  
  The server we had was incredibly nice and was more than willing to answer our novice questions.
  
  Make sure you go into the small shop/bakery/meat market that is attached.
  
  In a sea full of corporate chains in this area, Al-Bos is now my go to restaurant.

  The food and service was great. Not entirely convinced this place isn't a front for the mob. Live nearby, though, so I'll keep on coming back for many days too come.

  Really great food. It's something different if you're tired of eating at all the mainstream restaurants on 28th or 44th. You can come in to grab an espresso or a really good meal. You'll leave with your stomach full. They also have a nice bar and a grocery store next door.

  Some of the best schnitzel I've ever had, including those I have eaten in Germany and Switzerland. I had the Jägerschnitzel. Large portion and you could cut it with a fork. Breading was perfect. 10/10 would recommend. nom
